It's Angad Bedi's birthday today and the dashing actor turns 38. On his special day, here's a throwback story to when he had to man up and revealed Neha Dhupia's pregnancy to their family members. It was a dramatic situation as the news that they were going to share was pretty big. In one of the seasons of No Filter Neha, Angad Bedi had spilled the beans on their hush-hush and hurried wedding. It was a surprise indeed when Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi revealed that they were now man and wife. While talking to his host wife, Neha Angad revealed that he knew what he wanted to do, however, was worried about how her parents would react upon hearing the pregnancy news.
"I was extremely nervous because that was the judgement day, technically. To break the news to your parents, I really had cold feet as clearly it was not going to come from you. Everything had to come for me. I had to really man up and speak. I just had to blurt it out and see the reaction," the Inside Edge actor revealed. When Angad and his family went to have a talk with Neha's fam, Angad revealed that he and his family were given a very warm welcome which included loads of sweets and food and beer and more. "Your parents loved me so much and they were very accepting of the fact that you and I should settle down. But they were not really prepared to hear the news that you were expecting," he added.
Neha Dhupia's mother kept giving Angad gulab jamuns which he happily accepted and after gorging on a few, he blurted out the news to her parents. "I said, 'you know what, we are going to have a baby'. And that was it. There was silence, then your mom got really mad and she started bleeding from her nose. It was a bit dramatic for me. Bahut jhaad padi (we got a lot of scolding)," the Pink actor had recalled.
He added, "I was very honest as I went with the right intention. Okay, everybody makes mistakes but for me, this was not a mistake."
