The gorgeous lady of Bollywood, Ananya Panday made her debut with Tiger Shroff's Student Of The Year 2 along with Tara Sutaria, for which she garnered praises and even bagged the Filmfare Best Debut award. While the actress is currently busy with multiple projects, she has never spoken about her personal life on public platforms. Though during the promotions of Student Of The Year 2, when the actress was asked about her experience of kissing Tiger Shroff on a radio show, she replied, "It was my first kiss ever and I have not kissed anyone else so I can't compare. It was the best first kiss ever."

The film marks the first collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh. Talking about the filmmaker, the Dwarka actor earlier said, "I am a fan-boy of Puri ever since I watched Pokiri. But Fighter remains the one film he has never attempted so far. Though it will still have his trademark touch, it is an out-of-the-box movie for him too." Liger also features Ronit Roy, Ananya Panday and Ramya Krishnan in key roles.
