As the noose around Bollywood tightens with several big-name actors being brought into the picture of the film industry's alleged drug nexus, the one celeb who's most in the limelight these days in connections with the supposed Bollywood drug mafia is Deepika Padukone. Not only has a WhatsApp chat been leaked where it's been touted that she had asked her manager for hash, but photos of the superstar's party at high-end restaurant Koko in Lower Parel, Mumbai, have been circulating, with certain Bollywood news reports claiming that they show Deepika to be under the influence of something while leaving the restaurant.

Said reports further claim that she had asked her manager for hash to be delivered to Koko. In light of these entertainment news reports, a TOI article now claims that the NCB has decided to examine footage of Deepika Padukone's party at Koko that day in a bit to try and see if evidence can be procured that she had indeed secured hash on the same day and/or was under its influence. This new development in the Bollywood drug nexus case is sure to crate a lot more anxiety for the Padmaavat actress and her family, friends and fans.

Deepika is yet to issue an official statement over the allegations being made against her. She's presently in Goa, where she's shooting for her upcoming movie and is expected to return soon to Mumbai. Word is that the Cocktail actress has already got in touch with her legal team, based in Delhi, to explore the best course of action and get ahead of the accusations being directed at her.
