'Tis the festive season. Everyone is soaking in the festive spirits of Diwali. Though this time it is a little different from the rest of the year. The pandemic (Yes, the same who would turn a year old soon) has brought in some changes in the way we usually celebrated our festivals. The new normal culture has very much affected everyone but it's all for the safety of people. Mom-to-be, Anushka Sharma gave a sneak peek into their festival celebrations in the new normal setting. Anushka and Virat's celebrations included sanitizers as well. Though she intended a little humour and cheer with the post, it's kind of a little saddening.
The first post that Anushka shared was a simple wish of "Happy Diwali." Next, the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress shared pictures from their in-house decorations of the celebrations. Ditching the usual rangoli, Anushka used flowers and kept it subtle and simple. It seems she had decorated the garden area of her residence as we see various potted plants around. There were flowers and even the diyas. She also shared a picture of a plate of hand sanitizer decorated during the celebrations. "Hand sanitizers also part of the decoration. On the other hand, dad-to-be, Virat Kohli shared a video and wished his fans and well-wishers on the occasion. In the video, we also saw the cricketer urging people to celebrate Diwali in the safest way and also protect the environment. He asked them not to burst crackers and celebrate the festival in a simple way.
Meanwhile, Anushka and Virat are all set to welcome their first child in January 2021. Virat has been granted a maternity leave to be with his wife as they welcome their child next year.
