Shabaash Mithu: Taapsee Pannu looks like a real cricketer as she kick-starts the film’s shoot – view pic

Taapsee Pannu took to her social media to announce that she has started shooting for her film, Shabaash Mithu, on Monday. She posted a picture in cricket-gear and wrote: "Let's go.... Day 1 ! #ShabaashMithu #WomenInBlue." The actress looks like a real cricketer in the pic she shared. Have a look at her post below:

Taapsee has been keeping fans updated with her preparations for the film. She has been posting pictures of her training sessions. It seems like she wants to look authentic in the film.

The film is based on the life of Indian women's ODI cricket team captain, Mithali Dorai Raj.

In a past post while wishing Mithali on her birthday, Taapsee had written. "Happy Happy Birthday Captain @mithaliraj ! You have made all of us proud in more than many ways and it's truly an honour to be chosen to showcase your journey on screen. On this Birthday of yours I don't know what gift I can give you but this promise that I shall give it all I have to make sure you will be proud of what you see of yourself on screen with #ShabaashMithu

The film has been in the making for quite some time now.

Meanwhile, the actress has her hands full with multiple projects. She will be seen in the film Looop Lapeta, which also stars actor Tahir Raj Bhasin. The film is a Hindi remake of the German hit Run Lola Run.

Besides this, Taapsee also has the mystery thriller Haseen Dilruba. The film has been directed by Vinil Mathew and she will share the screen with Vikrant Massey in the film.

Her other upcoming film is Rashmi Rocket, which casts her as a long-distance runner.
