Mouni Roy recently posted a picture on her social media handle and flaunted a specialised engagement ring. The post quickly went viral and rumours started going about whether or not the DIVA of Indian television has secretly got engaged to someone. However, that is not the case. The actress was promoting a jewelry brand and hence she was seen posing for the camera as though she had just been proposed and wore the ring. Mouni's post left her colleagues and friends from the industry perplexed whether she really was engaged. Film producer Pragya Kapoor wrote: "OMG! You got me for a second." Producer Warda Khan S Nadiadwala commented: "Whatttttt? Are you indirectly announcing engagement?" Actress Simran Kaur Mundi also commented saying: "Ha ha ha! You had me until I read the caption." Meanwhile, on the work front, Mouni was recently seen in a web series. She is gearing up for Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra in which she plays the lead antagonist. In an interview, Mouni spoke about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The Made in China actress earlier had told Bollywood Hungama, "They are fire on screen. They are as amazing actors as brilliant humans in real life. It was my privilege to work with them. I love them together. They look so cute together. They look super-duper cute together, both on and off-screen." Brahmastra, which faced multiple delays was scheduled to release on December 4, but looking at the global crisis of coronavirus, the fantasy adventure drama is expected to get pushed again. Apart from Mouni, Ranbir and Alia, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna Akkineni, with a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan. Made on a lavish budget, the film is the first part in a trilogy, and we are expecting to see the lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor, with some mind-boggling superpowers.
