On the work front, the actress will be next seen in Doctor G with Ayushmann Khurrana. The two have started reading sessions for the film which pairs them together for the first time. It will be directed by Anubhuti Kashyap and will see Ayushmann play the role of Dr. Uday Gupta while Rakul plays Dr. Fatima, a medical student and Ayushmann's senior. Much like Ayushmann's films, Doctor G is touted to have a unique concept which hasn't been explored in mainstream cinema before.
