Now, she has broken her silence on why she was in an indifferent mood at the airport. In an interview to VJ Andy, Rubina Dilaik said that her aunt had passed away in January 2021. But her family members did not pass on this information to her inside the house as it would upset her game. When she came out as a winner, her grandmother told the family members not to disclose it right away, as they did not wish to ruin her celebratory mood.
But the actress had to soon fly to Chandigarh for the shoot of her music video with Paras Chhabra. Her extended family lives in the city. So when she was about to go, they could not hide the news any longer. They told her that this unfortunate event had taken place. This left Rubina Dilaik upset and she was withdrawn.
