Looop Lapteta: Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin's comic thriller locks its release date

While Taapsee Pannu recently grabbed the headlines for the I-T raid at her residence, the actress shared the release date of her upcoming comic-thriller, which will hit the screens on October 22. Sharing the news on Twitter, the Saand Ki Aankh star wrote, "Brace yourself to meet Savi and Satya..... #LooopLapeta in theatres this October 22, 2021. a comic thriller we rarely get ! @TahirRajBhasin @ellipsisentt @sonypicsfilmsin @vivekkrishnani @tanuj_garg @atulkasbekar @Aayush_BLM #AakashBhatia #LooopLapeta."

While the film is the remake of the German film Run Lola Run, Taapsee pointed out the difference between her venture and original and told Mirror Now, "The humour in Looop Lapeta is dry, sarcastic and situational. It comes more from the pauses than punchlines. We don't want to copy the film scene by scene. Also, it's not that radical anymore."

Loop Lapeta had became one of the first films to get COVID insured as producer Atul Kasbekar earlier said, "There are a lot of permutations and combinations to be worked upon. But one of the key things to keep in mind is that a fair number of people will potentially be exposed at a film set and filmmakers trust a certain set of people on the job. So, in case, the DOP of a film were to test positive mid-film, it is likely to stall the shoot of the movie till he recovers or till a suitable replacement is found in double quick time to retain the visual language of the motion picture. So there are these points being discussed. Tanujj and I are working on a draft of the insurance and hoping that it materialises soon." So, are you excited for this film?
