Tiger is one big franchise. The first two instalments of the film did really well at the box office and now, Tiger 3 is in the making. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are a part of it and there is a strong buzz about Emraan Hashmi playing a significant role in it as well.
At a recent event, the actor was asked about the film. He said, "I don't know. Am I a part of it? I'm hearing this news of me doing the film from the media. The talks are on. Ask Tiger (Salman Khan) if I'm doing the film or not."
While it's not official yet, a few days ago, our source revealed details about Emraan being a part of the film. "YRF felt that Emraan fits the role as a T. He is a fine, intense actor and that quality won him the role. Emraan is beefing up for the role. He always had an athletic body, but this time he's going to be all bulked up. He's going to start training for the role for some massively choreographed, hand-to-hand combat scenes between him and Salman Khan, for which Emraan is also expected to train in martial arts," said the source.
Meanwhile, talking to Filmfare in a past interview, the actor had said that he doesn't have any regrets. "I'm proud of whatever I have done. I don't have any regrets. What I'm today is because of certain films. I gained from that kind of cinema. There are many films, which you feel were not made for you or were not made as they should have been. But that's a learning process. How will you grow if you do not make mistakes? You have to do justice to whatever comes your way. You have to work hard and reinvent yourself."
He also said that he doesn't feel insecure because of competition. "I don't feel insecure ever because the industry is a big place. It always welcomes talent. Today so many new avenues have opened up. All kinds of films are being made. The medium doesn't matter. What matters is talent. If you have talent, you'll get opportunities. There's work for all. In fact, we should learn from the newcomers. They bring in fresh ideas," the actor had stated.
