"Yes, of course, I think everybody face it, I've faced it, too. I've been removed from six movies after being signed, but I don't believe in nepotism much because nobody can decided who's born where and who their parents are and I've realised that the hard way. So, we can't blame anybody for that, and if somebody is in my family, I'll, of course, try to stand with that person, and we're only taught, right, to stand with our family and support it. So, if somebody is the daughter or son of a superstar, then let's be honest, why would they ignore them and launch someone from outside? So, that is where I understood it later," said Garma Masala, Traffic Signal and Oye Lucky Lucky Oye actress Neetu Chandra when we put her on the hot seat about facing nepotism in Bollywood.
"However, if you're so outstanding like Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut, Priyaka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, who don't come from any background, but were so outstanding that they got what they wanted and kicked the door so hard that it opened for them. On the other hand, there are so many star kids who didn't do well after getting so many opportunities. So, you can't favour one side as their hard work no less. It's just that we take a longer time, and it took time for me, I was very young to understand the process and everything and this is a process and nobody would call you from front and even if they do, it's you alone who has to perform," added the gorgeous and talented actress.
