On September 5, the actor informed that he had tested positive for Coronavirus. His post read, "It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I'm feeling ok and I'm asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine. I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come."
The actor recently signed Pavan Kirpalani's Bhoot Police, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles. The film will be shot at Dharamshala, Dalhousie and Palampur. As per the Mumbai Mirror report, a source had said, "Arjun and Saif play a pair of ghosthunters in the film. The makers have been working towards getting the right ensemble on board for a while now. The film, produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri, will roll by the year-end."
