The most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Awards Films 2021 were held in the city recently and TV celebs such as Harshad Chopda, Sharad Malhotra, Rohitashv Gour and others won big. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Dr Abhimanyu Birla aka Harshad Chopda won big alongside his leading ladies, Pranali Rathod and Karishma Sawant. Harshad had shared a picture on his Instagram stories. He captioned the post saying, "When I feel appreciated, I try to do more than what is expected. P.S. recognition is a need few can resist and even fewer can do without. Thank you for all the love." Pranali Rathod won Best icon Face Female 2021. Pranali plays Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and her character is already getting loads of love. She shared the post after her win. "BEST ICON FACE FEMALE 2021. Extremely overwhelmed to share my first ever award with y'all. Karishma Sawant aka Aarohi Geonka of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Best Fresh Face Debut at the Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Awards Films 2021. She penned a heartfelt note on receiving her first-ever award. "I couldn't wait any longer from sharing my first ever award with you all ( Best Fresh Face Debut 2021 #yrkkh )

Anupamaa won big awards too. Director Romesh Kalra, Rupali Ganguly, Alpana Buch, Madalsa Sharma, Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey won big too! Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa bagged Best Longest Running Iconic Serial and Best Hindi Serial respectively. Director's Kut Productions, Rajan Shahi's team shared pictures of the same. Director's Kut Productions and Anupamaa's Marathi Adaptation Aai Kuthe Kaay Karte won big too.
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain and Happu Ki Ultan Paltan also won awards. Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain won the Best Serial comedy, Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli lifted the trophy for Best Producer Comedy award, Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi) and Rohitashv Gour (Manmohan Tiwari) won the best actress and actor award in comic role respectively. Saanand Verma (Anokhe Lal Saxena) won Best Supporting Actor in Comedy. Charrul Malik (Russa, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai/Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) received the Most Versatile Anchor and Actress Award. Child artists Aryan Prajapati (Hritik Singh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) and Zaara Warsi (Chamchi Singh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) won Best Child Artists awards.
Vidrohi won big too. Sharad Malhotra and Hemal Dev also won Best Actor and Best Lead Actress TV Show.
