Coronavirus has already spread a lot of negativity around and everything seems sad. With all this going on, we also have other things going on which bring about more negativity. A model-turned artiste and songwriter has alleged sexual assault by at least a dozen people from the entertainment industry in the last several years. On May 10, the 28-year-old lady approached the police to file a complaint. Maheshwar Reddy, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone 10, has asked a police officer at Andheri Police station to record the lady's statement. Post that the statement was recorded on May 18 and the matter has been forwarded to DCP Zone 9 office in Bandra. A report in the Times Of India said that as per the statement recorded, most of the incidents allegedly took place under Bandra jurisdiction between 2013 and 2019.
The report also said that an FIR has been filed in the case and several high-profile men have been named in the case. Actor-producer Jaccky Bhagnani, photographer Colston Juian, Kwan Entertainment Co-founder Anirban Blah, Krishan Kumar from T-SeriesAha CEO Ajit Thakur, Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamat, Producer Vishnu Induri and others have been accused in this case. Talking about Jackky Bhagnani, he has collaborated with Juno for the remake of 1980 multi-starrer, The Burning Train. Earlier, confirming the news, Jackky told Mumbai Mirror, "I'm sure many of us did. It's classic Bollywood and I'm thrilled to be working with my friend Juno to recreate the magic that Ravi Chopra sir had 40 years ago. It has its heart at the right place and we are all set to give it our all. We will be finalising the cast soon. The modern adaptation will be set in a train itself and will have a new twist."
While the film was a disaster during its release, it would be interesting how the new version performs among the audience.
