The Kapil Sharma Show comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale booked for flouting COVID-19 wedding regulations – deets inside

Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale tied the knot just a couple of days ago in Jalandhar, Punjab. And now, reports are coming that they have been booked by the Punjab police for flouting the COVID-19 regulations. Yes, you read that right. The couple tied the knot just nine days ago and several people including the manager of Club Cabana resort, where the wedding was held have been booked for the same. Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale along with others have been booked under the Disaster Management Act and under section 188 of IPC. As per a report in Times, of India, the complaint has been registered after a video from the wedding surfaced online.

The SP of Phagwara, Sarabjit Singh Bahia revealed that the clip reached them on Wednesday and then they registered the case. For the unversed, in the clip, it is said that one can see a lot of people gathered around. It was stated by the Punjab government that no more than 10 people should be allowed per wedding. Meanwhile, Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale are yet to comment or release a statement on the same.

Meanwhile, recently, we saw Sugandha sharing a hilarious reel wherein she called Sanket, an adjusting husband. The funny reel talks about a fake husband-wife scenario where the wife is confused as she doesn't have salt at home to make Jalebis. So, the husband suggests the wife to make pakoras using sugar. Meanwhile, after the wedding, Sugandha and Sanket had reached Mumbai. They were seen partaking in the post-wedding rituals. Talking about which Sugandha told Times of India, "I am understanding and inculcating the traditional Maharashtrian ways. I am excited about being a Maharashtrian baiko (laughs!)" The actress-comedienne and singer made Panjiri and a Maharashtrian sweet dish for Sanket and his family. Talking about the same the actress had said, "It's a traditional Punjabi sweet dish, which we make during a puja. It's served as prasad. I am glad that everyone liked it. Eventually, I prepared a Maharashtrian sweet dish as well. It was a great mix of Punjabi and Maharashtrian dishes on the table."
