These are truly trying times in the country right now. Reports of veteran legendary actor Dilip Kumar being hospitalized have surfaced. As per a report in the Times of India, the Naya Daur actor was recently hospitalized for some health-related issue. A leading news portal in its report said that given his age (98), Dilip Kumar has to have routine check-ups done every now and then and hence he was taken to the hospital. However, there's nothing to worry about. The yesteryear actor is doing fine. It is said that he will be discharged today. While sharing an update on his health, Saira Banu said told Times, "Dilip Kumar Saab is recovering well and will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow."
Meanwhile, last year in December, Saira Banu had shared an update on the Aan actor's health saying that he is not doing too well these days. However, she urged fans to keep him in his prayers. "He's not too well. He's weak. At times, he walks into the hall and back to his room. His immunity is low. Pray for his welfare. We are grateful to God for each day," the Shagird actress had told Times of India.
Saira Banu is a doting wife to Dilip Kumar. She has been taking care of the Ram Aur Shyam actor for a long time now. Talking about the same, the veteran actress had earlier said, "It is out of love and not duress that I look after Dilip saab. I am not looking for praises to be called a devoted wife. Just to touch him and cuddle him is the world's best thing that's happening to me. I adore him and he is my breath itself."
We pray that the legendary actor lives long and keeps healthy. Dilip Kumar's last on-screen appearance was in 1998's Qila. He reportedly has two films, Aag Ka Dariya and Kalinga, that have been completed but are unreleased.
