Tiger 3: Has the shoot of the Salman Khan starrer been affected after Katrina Kaif tested COVID-19 positive? Here's what we know

The second of coronavirus has taken a toll on the entertainment industry and we saw celebs like Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal and others contracting the COVID. The celeb, who recently came into the contact with the virus is Katrina Kaif and while being she is under quarantine left the fans concerned about the fate of Salman Khan's highly-anticipated Tiger 3, we got the latest news, which give you a sigh of relief. As per the PinkVilla report, the shooting of the espionage thriller started on March 8 in Mumbai and Kat had shot her few portions a week back.

As per the original shooting plan, the Bharat actress was supposed to join again in the end of April, which means her quarantine period has not affected the shooting of Tiger 3 and currently Salman Khan is shooting his solo portions of the film. The producers are following strict protocols and are making sure that the constant sanitisation and COVID test are being taken at regular intervals of the cast and crew. Apart from Tiger 3, another biggie Pathan starring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone is being shot in the YRF studio and similar protocols have been followed on that sets too.

Talking about Tiger 3, the film is directed by Maneesh Sharma, who is known for helming films like Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, Shuddh Desi Romance and Fan. The film also features Emraan Hashmi as the lead antagonist and the makers have kept his character details under the wraps.
