The teaser of the movie was unveiled a month back. We were blown away seeing the performances, music and photography. Sai Pallavi stole our hearts as the village girl who falls madly in love with a Naxal leader. Even on the occasion of Ugadi, the makers unveiled a poster where we could see Sai Pallavi at her traditional best.
Corona cases are on a high in India. We have had two lakh positive cases in a day. While Brazil is leading the world in stats, India unofficially has the highest numbers so far. However, cinema halls in Telangana/Andhra Pradesh are running successfully. Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab made more than 70 crores in its weekend. It has even beaten the moolah made by Master.
The film is set in the heartland of Telangana in the 100s. Venu Udugula who is known for his artistic cinema is the director of the movie. Priyamani, Nivetha Pethuraj, Nandita Das, and Naveen Chandra play important supporting roles. Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas is the producer of the project.
