British actor Reg -Jean Page became every woman's (and we are sure some men's too) fantasy with his sexy demeanor and outstanding performance as the Duke of Hastings in Netflix web-series Bridgerton. The elation reached another level when the OTT platform announced that the web series is set to renew for a second season. Following this amazing news, we heard that the crew is back on the set and Bridgerton 2 may be coming to us sooner than we may imagine. However, the biggest dampener was when Netflix announced via a letter from Lady Whistledown that Simon, the Duke of Hastings, would not return in the Bridgerton season 2. It stated: "We will miss Simon's presence onscreen, but he will always be a part of the Bridgerton family."
The news has left all Bridgerton and Reg -Jean Page's fans devasted. Interestingly, just like all of us, Shahid Kapoor's dear wifey Mira Kapoor is a fan of Bridgerton and Reg -Jean Page as well. The star wife recently reacted to the news of Page's exit from the show and it is what all of us have been feeling. Mira shared a picture of Lady Whistledown's heartbreaking letter with just one word 'WHY ?'
Well, now isn't that how all of us have been feeling? Why did the makers of Bridgerton have to do this? Why Reg -Jean Page had to exit? Why can't we have him back? Why would we even see the show now? So many WHYs there. Mira Rajput seems to be heartbroken by the latest updated on Bridgerton just like all of us. It can be recalled that recently Ashton Kutcher had revealed how his wife Mila Kunis had been hooked to Bridgerton and she also confessed to being in awe of Reg -Jean Page. Well, who isn't!
Now, that Reg -Jean Page will be sorely missed, the makers better pull up a really strong and equally sexy drama to keep Page's fans hooked to the second season when Bridgerton 2 arrives on Netflix.
