Indian Idol 12 has been in the news, be it for the right or wrong reasons. The singing reality show has been surrounded by controversies and grabbed all the unnecessary attention. From being biased towards Sawai Bhatt and showing Nachiket Lele the exit door to faking a love story between Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal, angry fans have been expressing their displeasure over the current happenings on the singing reality show. And now Sawai Bhatt sharing his ordeal about his ailing mother and planning to quit the show midway has once again brought the makers of Indian Idol 12 under the scanner.
In a video shared by the channel, host Jay Bhanushali bring into everyone's attention that Sawai has been dealing with some emotional problem and wants to share it on the stage. Sawai then tells the judges, "Kuch dino se mai bohot jyada pareshan hoon. Ghar me bhi aisa problem hai... mummy ki tabiyat kharab rehti hai 3-4 mahino se. Koi abhi help nahi kar raha aur papa bhi kuch kam nahi kar sakte.. khali ghar me rehte abhi. Mummy jab bhi call karti to rone lagg jati hai ki 'mai bohot yaad kar rahi hoon tumhe.' To unn chizo se mere dimag me ek bohot jyada pressure sa ho gaya. To mai gane ko nahi kar paa raha hoon."
He continued, "Mujhe time chahiye tha jo mera gaon hai waha mai jau kuch dino ke liye aur rahu. Bas mujhe dukh ki baat hai ki yaha aane me itni badi kismat ban jati hai sir par mai bohot matlab keh nahi paa raha hu sir. Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki mai aage tak nahi jaa sakta. Mujhe show ko yaha hi (khatam) karna padega sir."
The judges Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani along with Jaya Prada look at Sawai in shock. A curious Himesh then asks, "Yahi ke tum show chodna chahte ho?" And the video ends there leaving everyone wondering whether Sawai will quit the show or not.
However, recently, Himesh said that he has managed to convince Sawai to stay back on the show. The channel has apparently allowed Sawai to bring his parents to Mumbai so that they could stay with him and he could also continue his journey on Indian Idol 12.
But fans are not convinced with this narrative. They feel that it was a 'well scripted drama' to boost the show's TRP since there has been a change in the time slot. They also accused the makers of forcing Sawai to share his ordeal on national television. Take a look.
