Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly had earlier announced that she has tested positive for Coronavirus. The actress celebrates her birthday today but unfortunately, she is quarantined. In an interview with ETimes, Rupali Ganguly shared that she had actually applied for leave on her birthday and the next day so that she could enjoy some quality time with her family, especially with her son, husband and mother. She said that she had planned so much for her birthday but it seems God had different plans. "When I was busy making plans, God must have been laughing at me, knowing what was in store for me in the coming days, "she said who will be celebrating her birthday alone and with five rescued dogs. Rupali Ganguly has quarantined herself in another house.
She says that thankfully she has a household help with her who had tested positive sometime back. The helper is in a PPE kit throughout the day. Rupali Ganguly also mentioned that she has books to read but she is secretly has a wish. She said that she wishes to see her son, from a distance wearing a PPE kit. She said thats he would really want her son to be standing at a distance with her husband and mother while she cuts the cake. She is glad she has another house where she could quarantine herself. "Thankfully I am not in my apartment because then I would have been confined to just one room and plus it would have been difficult for my family members too to live in such close proximity," she added.
Rupali Ganguly revealed that she spending time alone and has started an inward journey. She said that COVID has taken away her happy space and happiness too. She said she called Corona as Corona devi as it teaches a lot. Rupali mentioned that corona has taught her to love herself. Rupali Ganguly also said that she feels guilty for testing positive. She said, "I feel so guilty that I have tested positive. I know other actors have tested positive too, but the show is called Anupamaa and it will be difficult to manage things now though our script writers are fantastic." She said that the writers had also started to write an alternative track when she had gone for her corona test. She said that she must have been careless and hence this took place. Rupali feels that this is God's way of making us realise that we are mere puppets in the hands of writers.
