In 2017, Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali made a big decision to adopt their caretaker's kids, Khushi and Rajveer. The couple had not only fund their education but also give them their valuable time. Everything was fine until the online trolls attacked Mahhi and Jay with their most brutal form of hatred by accusing them of abandoning their foster kids after they welcome their biological daughter, Tara, without any knowledge or proof.
Drawing a conclusion by looking at their pictures with daughter Tara on social media, the trolls assumed that Mahhi and Jay have been ignoring their adopted kids since they were hardly seen in pictures together. They dropped nasty comments on their social media posts without thinking for even a bit how the trolling could turn out to be destructive for the kids, who will one day grow up to read all the negative things said about them.
We see many celebrities getting trolled on social media and a major section of our society enjoys it as well. But trolls accusing Mahhi and Jay of abandoning foster kids without knowledge, evidence or even a small background research is the most sickening scapegoating ever witnessed on the virtual world.
The trolling definitely took a toll on the couple's mental health which prompted them to pen an open letter to shut the wagging tongues once and for all. In the letter, Mahhi clarified that their foster kids have returned to their hometown to be with their extended family and grandparents, a decision which their biological parents took and they did not interfere.
Dear trolls, if you are unable to understand people, please stop making constant judgements about them either. If you want to criticize someone, please do, noone's stopping you, but please do it in a dignified way without hurting anyone's sentiments.
