Grammys Awards 2021 winner Predictions: Here's who we think could possibly win in the big four categories this year

Grammys 2021 has got all the melophiles super stoked. A lot of fresh music, talent and songs graced everyone's ears. The pandemic made us all appreciate music evermore. Talking about the Grammys it's one of the most prestigious awards in the field of music. Usually, the Grammys take place in January, which is the start of the year. But this time, due to the pandemic, the Grammys have been moved two months late. This weekend you'll get to enjoy the Grammys on Monday early morning that is, 6:30 am on March 15th. Now, there have been a lot of hullabaloo around the nominations, which is given, as the nominees were announced in November 2020 itself. Let's have a look at the big four categories.

Album of the year

The nominees for Grammys 2021's Album of the Year include Chilombo" Jhen Aiko, Black Pumas (Deluxe Edition) Black Pumas, Everyday Life Coldplay, Djesse Vol. 3 Jacob Collier, Women in Music Pt. III Haim, Future Nostalgia Dua Lipa, Hollywood's Bleeding Post Malone, Folklore Taylor Swift. Amongst the nominees, Taylor Swift Folklore saw reinventing herself as an indie-folk-rock artist. Though she ruled hearts with her writing and music, you cannot ignore the other nominees. Dua Lipa, for instance. Her Future Nostalgia has been ruling the roost too. Though the Grammy has hitherto rarely considered all pop for the Album of the Year category (remember Bruno Mars' '24K Magic?) Dua Lipa might just make the cut. You just cannot not see Haim's Women in Music, Post Malone's Hollywood's Bleeding too.

Could win: Taylor Swift

Record of the Year

The nominees for Record of the Year include Black Parade Beyonc , Colors Black Pumas, Rockstar DaBaby featuring Roddy Ricch, Say So Doja Cat, Everything I Wanted Billie Eilish, Don't Start Now Dua Lipa, Circles Post Malone, Savage Megan Thee Stallion featuring Beyonc . Seven out of the eight nominees here have been nominated in the performance category. And the six of them had made a cut at BillBoards' Hot 100 in the top ten. Yes, you read that right. While the competition seems tough, we have to give credit to Megan Thee Stallion's Savage which is the first all-female collaboration in the history of Grammy's. However, Billie Eilish's Everything I Wanted is also one of the top contenders. Dua Lipa's Don't Start Now and Beyonc 's Black Parade does the cut too.

Could win: Billie Eilish (Everything I Wanted)/ Megan Thee Stallion (Savage).

Song of the year

In the nominations for the Song of the Year this year, we have Black Parade Beyonc , The Box Roddy Ricch, Cardigan Taylor Swift, Circles Post Malone, Don't Start Now Dua Lipa, Everything I Wanted Billie Eilish, I Can't Breathe H.E.R., If the World Was Ending JP Saxe featuring Julia Michaels. From the nominations, the likely to cut the chase could be Black Parade, Everything I Wanted, Cardigan and Don't Start Now. Beyonc could redeem herself with Black Parade this time, however, being nominated for the fifth time consecutively, Swift too, has high chances with Cardigan. Eilish's Everything I Wanted has fair chances, but there are masses who may just about vote for Taylor or Beyonc .

Could win: Black Parade (Beyonc ) / Cardigan (Taylor Swift)

Best New Artist

This year in the Grammy's in the Best New Artist category, we have Ingrid Andress, Phoebe Bridgers, Chika, Noah Cyrus, D Smoke, Doja Cat, Kaytranada, Megan Thee Stallion. And for those not in the know, Megan Thee Stallion has an edge above the rest. It's been 22 years since an all-female hip-hop artist has won the Grammy. As far as the country artists are concerned, it was in 2006 that Carrie Underwood picked up the Best New Artist award. The tips are high in the favour of Megan Thee Stallion who has had two chart-toppers on Billboards Hot 100.

Could win: Megan Thee Stallion.
