The teaser of Kartik Aaryan starrer Dhamaka was dropped a couple of hours ago. And it was Dhamakedaar indeed. Kartik Aaryan looks thoroughly amazing in the short teaser and has managed to capture the attention and ignite the intrigue in a short span of time. Dhamaka has Kartik Aaryan playing the role of a journalist. And with the teaser of Dhamaka, Kartik Aaryan has stepped out of his comfort zone of comedy and attempted other than the comedy/romance genre. It has been refreshing and a welcome change. In a matter of minutes, Kartik Aaryan showed varied emotions and his performance is impeccable.
The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor opened up on signing and working for Dhamaka saying, "Dhamaka has been a very exciting & enriching experience for me as an actor. Working with a maverick like Ram Madhvani has allowed me to explore & showcase a new facet of my personality. I am thrilled that the film will reach audiences & my fans all around the world on Netflix."
Ram Madhvani who is directing Dhamaka also opened up on the film saying, "Amita Madhvani and I and our full team at Ram Madhvani Films with the team at RSVP are thrilled that our film Dhamaka will be on Netflix. While Kartik Aaryan is in the focus for Dhamaka, Amruta Subhash leaves a mark too. She seems to be playing the role of Kartik aka Arjun Pathak's boss in the film who will not let the TRP of her channel fail even if it means ignoring the emotional and mental stress of her employee. Dhamaka will premiere exclusively on Netflix across 190 countries.
