Director Ram Madhvani shared, "Amita Madhvani and I and our full team at Ram Madhvani Films with the team at RSVP are thrilled that our film Dhamaka will be on Netflix. We know that this is only our first step to a continuing relationship with a platform we highly respect and that will reach national and international audiences."
Kartik had earlier said, "This for me is a miracle script and had me on the edge of my seat all through the narration. I knew this is the script that would give me the opportunity to explore a different side of me as an actor," Kartik said.
"Though, this one is a thriller on the outset, there lies a lot of emotion and drama in the screenplay that leads to the adrenaline rush. This film demanded a young actor with a certain amount of rawness in the space. Kartik, being one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, fits the bill," Madhvani added.
Ram has just begun shooting for Aarya 2. Sushmita Sen is starring in it just like Aarya. The actress took to Instagram recently to announce the season of the series.
