Aamir Khan is all set to turn 56 tomorrow on March 14, 2021. Every year, he has this yearly ritual of celebrating his birthday with the media. The actor has a cake-cutting ceremony followed by media bytes. There is also an informal session that happens in which the actor speaks about things off the record. Last year, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it was canned and this year is no different.
Aamir also makes announcements about his future projects on his birthday, but as of now, even that seems unlikely. But you never know, the actor might spring up a surprise for his ardent fans.
The actor will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an adaptation of Forrest Gump. In a past interview, when asked if he found the role, which was originally played by a 30-year-old Tom Hanks, challenging, Aamir had said, "Not really. [In Forrest Gump] if you see each running shot, it's not more than 30 seconds. Woh cut karke sequence mein lagta hai ki woh char saal bhaga. So, that's not a worry. The challenge is actually getting the 'sur' of the character right."
Well, the film surely seems exciting and is eagerly awaited. Let's hope the situation is conducive for a big-screen release.
