The third installment of superstar Salman Khan-led Tiger franchise will be released in 2022. The shoot of the film is about the begin soon but fans are already excited to see the film. Ek Tha Tiger which was released in 2012, the first movie in the franchise, portrayed the story of an Indian spy (RAW) code-named Tiger, who falls in love with a Pakistani spy (Kaif) during an investigation. The second film, Tiger Zinda Hai was said to be inspired from the 2014 abduction of Indian nurses by ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant). In the film, we saw Tiger and Zoya go on a mission to save a group of hostages held by a militant terrorist organization in Iraq. The third film will surely be another blockbuster and there is no denying in it.
While fans are super-happy about the film releasing next year, we thought of getting them all the details we have till now about the film. The first and most amazing thing is the main antagonist of this film. A lot has been spoken about the villain and he is none other than Emraan Hashmi. So, this will be Emraan Hashmi's first collaboration with Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan. Moreover, it will be his first collaboration with Yash Raj Films (YRF). The first film, Ek Tha Tiger was directed by Kabir Khan while Tiger Zinda Hai was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Now, Tiger 3 will be directed by Maneesh Sharma.
Another interesting thing is that, Yash Raj Films is planning a spy universe, bringing together Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger series, Hrithik Roshan's War and its next sequels, and Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming Pathan in multi-spy-verse. And lastly, this will Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's 7th film together. The superhit Bollywood pair has given us some brilliant movies until now and we are super-excited for Tiger 3 just like every Salman and Katrina fan.
