Maine Pyar Kiya and Radhe Shyam actress Bhagyashree points out what's common between Salman Khan and Prabhas

Salman Khan and Prabhas are undoubtedly two of the biggest stars of the country. While these actors always set new benchmarks at the box office, actress Bhagyashree, who worked with both the hunks in Maine Pyar Kiya and Radhe Shyam pointed a common thing between the duo. While talking to E Times, she said, "Both of them believe in themselves and that's what makes them work towards what they want to do."

Bhagyashree also revealed that initially she refused Maine Pyar Kiya and wanted to go abroad for higher studies. She asserted, If today's generation reads this, they will think I was out of my mind because who refuses a film like 'Maine Pyar Kiya!' But I didn't want to do it. Instead, I wanted to go abroad for higher studies and had also secured admission. However, my father wanted me to complete my education in India itself and we were arguing over it when 'Maine Pyar Kiya' came my way. The Humko Deewana Kar Gaye actress added, "I actually told Soorajji (Sooraj Barjatya) that I didn't want to work in films, a fact he couldn't understand. The subject was beautiful and I liked what he narrated to me. But, at the end of it, when he wanted to know if I would do the film, I told him that despite liking the script, I wouldn't be able to take it up. He returned to me seven times, with changes in the script to please me, and each time I would come up with a new excuse. But on the eighth time, I couldn't make one up and gave my nod to the film."

When asked whether the director approached any actress after that, she replied, "If he had gone to Sridevi or Madhuri Dixit and got a 'no' in response, it would be understandable but I was a newbie who no one knew about. He was persistent that I do the film. To be honest, in my heart I always felt it was a lovely story and each time I sent him back, I would feel sad. But during the course of filming, I fell in love with the profession, which I had never even considered as a career option. In fact, in all of my school plays I had played a tree because I was petrified of facing the audience."
