After enjoying a massive success with War, director Siddharth Anand is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Pathan which will mark the return of Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen. In addition, several reports have been doing the rounds of the industry that Siddharth has now teamed up with Baahubali star Prabhas for a pan-India film. It is being said that Siddharth had narrated the script to Prabhas when they recently met in Mumbai. Prabhas was reportedly pretty impressed with the storyline and couldn't say no to the project.
According to the reports, Prabhas was mighty impressed with Siddharth Anand's direction in Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War. It was being said that the two reportedly discussed the possibilities to do a film together. It seems like they have locked the script which is being touted to be an action thriller. The makers are reportedly planning to release the film in five languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
It is also being said that Prabhas will start shooting for the rumoured film in the second half of 2022. It was recently announced that Siddharth will once again team up with Hrithik for yet another action film Fighter which will also star Deepika Padukone. He will reportedly start shooting for the film after completing Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan. However, an official statement from Siddharth Anand or Prabhas on the recent development is still awaited.
Prabhas's upcoming action film Salaar is expected to go on floors by the last week of January. The team performed a Mahurat Puja in the city on January 15. The Prashanth Neel directorial is being billed as one of the most immaculate action films ever made. Prabhas plays a violent character, something he hasn't done so far in his films. He is working to acquire a beefed-up look for the role. He will also be seen in Om Raut's ambitious upcoming directorial Adipurush which also stars Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.
