Akshay Kumar's highly anticipated masala action-comedy, Bachchan Pandey, has finally got a release date, and it's a big one. After teasing us with some cool posters, where all and sundry fell in love with Akshay Kumar's rugged, desi, macho avatar, the superstar has shared a new pic from Bachchan Pandey, booking the next Republic Day, 26th January 2020, as the release date of the film. In the new still, the actor can be seen sporting an unshaven visage, wearing a brown shirt and matching stroll tied around his head, with chunky-metallic chains around his neck, metal earrings, and beady blue eye, making him look even deadlier than he did in the earlier pictures.
Sharing the photo on his official Twitter handle, Akshay Kumar wrote: "His one look is enough! #BachchanPandey releasing on 26th January, 2022! #SajidNadiadwala @farhad_samji @kritisanon @Asli_Jacqueline @ArshadWarsi @NGEMovies ." Check it out below:

Earlier, Arshad Warsi had exclusive opened up about his role in Bachchan Pandey to BollywoodLife, saying, "In Bachchan Pandey, you'll see Kriti (Sanon) and me in a lot of portion together, then there's Akshay (Kumar) and me in a lot of portions together. So, I'm going to be having a great time with Kriti because we're going to go nuts as we have some very inane and bizarre scenes, which are extremely funny and hilarious and crazy. Then I have crazy scenes with Akshay, too, which are again going to be nuts. I was looking forward to working with Akshay because we are like peas in a pod same kind of sense of humour, bizarre madeness, and I think he's outstanding, he's extremely funny. I think Bachchan Pandey is going to be good fun, yaar, for people to watch as I know the scenes and I can see Akshay doing it. And if you know what I'm doing in the film, people can see me doing it. I'll give you a hint: I'm playing a struggling tapori actor... see what I mean (laughs, when we tell that we can only imagine what he'll do with the role). I'm playing a total Mumbaiyaa, total local guy, and also a bad actor. So you can image what is going to happen. It'll be great fun."
Directed by Housefull 4 fame Farhad Samji, Bachchan Pandey stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Pankaj Tripathi. Akshay will be seen as a gangster who dreams of becoming an actor while Kriti Sanon portrays a journalist, who harbours aspirations of being a film director.
