Rakul Preet Singh tests negative for COVID-19; says, 'Can’t wait to start 2021 with good health and positivity

Popular Bollywood and south actress Rakul Preet, who recently got tested positive for COVID-19 in Hyderabad while shooting for Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan starrer MayDay, has finally recovered from coronavirus and has issued a official statement on it. Sharing the good news, the De De Pyaar De actress posted a note, which reads, "Happy to share that I have tested negative for COVID 19. I'm feeling absolutely fine. Thank you for all your wishes and love. Can't wait to start 2021 with good health and positivity. PS. Let's be responsible. Wear masks and take all the precautions."

The actress earlier shared on social media about getting tested positive for COVID-19 and had written, "I'd like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you And please stay safe."

Talking about her upcoming venture, Mayday, the actress will portray the character of a pilot in the film. Speaking about the excitement of joining this team, Rakul Preet said, "I have worked with Ajay sir in the past and extremely thrilled to be working with him yet again as his co-pilot in a film where he is not just my co-star but director too:) When I decided to be an actor like all the other aspiring actors I had a dream to work with Mr. Bachchan and I am so glad that with this film my dream to share screen space with him will come true." Apart from MayDay, she will also be seen in John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Attack, which will release in 2021.
