The Desi Girl of Bollywood and global icon Priyanka Chopra recently completed 20 years in the entertainment industry and while the versatile star has done some impeccable roles in two decades, she spoke about her three portrayals, which were amazing and complex. Can you guess that characters? Well, it's Kashibai from Bajirao Mastani, Jhilmil from Barfi and Susanna from 7 Khoon Maaf.
Sharing the glimpse of of her characters from these three films, Priyanka Chopra wrote, "In my 20 years in the entertainment industry, I've had the privilege to play some distinct, memorable characters crafted by the finest directors in the business. Today, I'm talking about 3 such amazing, complex characters I've played at different points in time, with depth, conflict and resilience & working with 3 phenomenal directors who I believe are an institution in themselves. Kashibai (Bajirao Mastani) by Sanjay Leela Bhansali Susanna (7 Khoon Maaf) by Vishal Bhardwaj Jhilmil (Barfi) by Anurag Basu Bold, loyal & fierce...Kashibai was one of the most endearing characters I've played.

She added, "7 Khoon Maaf...a dark comedy with a woman protagonist who is looking for true love and tries to find it 7 times, but in the end, is still lonely.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next in The White Tiger opposite Rajkummar Rao, which is a Netflix film. It is adapted from Aravind Adiga's prize-winning novel of the same name. The film is helmed by Ramin Bahrani. It follows the extraordinary journey of a self-made man from being a tea-shop worker in a village to a successful entrepreneur in a big city. The global icon also has an international web series under her belt titled Citadel, which will be produced by Avengers: Endgame makers Russo Brothers and also feature Richard Madden in a key role. It will be directed by Raj and DK, who are known for The Family Man, Go Goa Gone and others.
