Jasmin Bhasin and Eijaz Khan have been having a bittersweet relationship ever since they entered the Bigg Boss 14 house. Eijaz has always felt that Jasmin was making fun of his age. However, Jasmin has always maintained that she has never been disrespectful towards him. She even apologised to Eijaz in the possibility she had hurt his sentiments in any way, but Eijaz never paid heed to her apology. As both Jasmin and Eijaz continue to be at loggerheads with each other, viewers witnessed a point where Jasmin unapologetically gave it back to Eijaz. And we wondered whether it was right on her part to do so.
It all started when the housemates went all out to win the nomination task. The house was divided into two teams. One team had Arshi Khan, Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khana and Rahul Mahajan. The other had Vikas Gupta, Jasmin Bhasin, Kashmera Shah and Rubina Dilaik. Manu Punjabi was the sanchalak of the task. The winning team would eventually be marked safe from being nominated and Manu Punjabi was clearly supporting Arshi's team during the task. Hence, the latter's team won the first round.
Post this, we saw some ugly comments exchanged between Eijaz Khan and Jasmin Bhasin. Eijaz called her a '30 saal ki bacchi', to which Jasmin warned him not to say such things. But when Eijaz repeated his comments, Jasmin burst out saying that she is a 30-year-old kid but still can be real and fair while Eijaz being a 45-year-old acts fake to be on the show. Both Eijaz and Jasmin threw nasty comments at each other's age. This prompted us to ask Bigg Boss 14 fans whether Jasmin was right in her remarks against Eijaz by stooping down to his level or should she have had maintained a dignified stance.
The poll result is finally in and 67% of the voters feel that Jasmin did the right thing by giving a befitting reply to Eijaz's ageism remark. The remaining 33% though felt that Jasmin should have remained calm and patient.
