Back in 80s 90s and up to the early 2000s, we saw Bollywood giving us multi-starrers, 2-hero projects and ensemble cameos, which usually turned out to be box-office money spinners. But now, we hardly see these kinds of movies though it seems that the old trend is returning. After War (featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff), we have a mega-budget multi-starrer in the form of Karan Johar's upcoming, Takht, which features the ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
Now talking about trending cameos, we heard that two of the biggest upcoming films, just got bigger because of the special appearances of megastars. We are talking about Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Hrithik Roshan's War 2, with both these films are expected to have cameos from Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. While with the former, we will see both Khans recreating their iconic roles, on the other hand, War 2 will follow the pattern of Rohit Shetty's cop universe (Sooryavanshi, Simmba, Singham) as we will see multiple secret agents coming together. Laal Singh Chaddha
In Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, which is the official adaptation of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump, we will see Shah Rukh returning as Raj from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Salman Khan making a comeback with his most loved character from the 90s, Prem. The makers of the Aamir Khan starrer have weaved the plot in such a way that these two matinee idols will become an integral part of Chaddha's journey. Well, watching three Khans in one frame for the first time will definitely be an iconic moment for the fans.
War 2
It seems YRF is set to follow Rohit Shetty's cop universe with their own RAW-agents universe. While Shah Rukh Khan recently started shooting for Pathan, where he will play the character of an agent with Deepika Padukone, we will also reportedly see Salman Khan making a cameo as agent Tiger in the film. Post this, we will see Salman Khan kickstarting Tiger 3 in February next year. And if everything goes to plan, we will see Shah Rukh Khan appearing as Pathan and Salman Khan as Tiger in Hrithik Roshan's War 2. Well, this sounds awesome, isn't it?
