Well, 2020 has definitely not been a good year for us as apart from suffering from the pandemic crisis of COVID-19, we also lost of the gems from the entertainment industry. While the festive season of Diwali is nearby, it seems it will be lacklustre affair. Two of the biggest families of the fraternity, Amitabh Bachchan and Ekta Kapoor will not host Diwali party this year on account of Rishi Kapoor's demise as he was like a family member for both the celebs. In fact, he was the uncle of Shweta Bachchan Nanda (Big B's daughter) as she is married to his nephew Nikhil Nanda.
Talking about Amitabh Bachchan, the actor recently signed Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer, which will be directed by Mahanati helmer Nag Ashwin. Talking about Amitabh Bachchan's entry in the film, Nag Ashwin said, "I feel lucky and blessed that Bachchan Sir has selected our film among the many choices he has. It is a full-length role, which we believe will do justice to the legend that he is." During the media interaction, producer Ashwini Dutt said, "Nag Ashwin' story surprised me. He came up with a universally acceptable story for Baahubali and Saaho star Prabhas. The project requires hundreds of cr of budget. Only Prabhas has the ability to pull off such a massive project." As per the reports, #Prabhas21 is expected to be a sci-fi venture about time travel, where the lead actors will go to specific time zones. The production of this film will be shot all over Europe. The film is produced by Vyjayanthi Entertainments, a banner that recently completed 50 years in the business. It will be reportedly made on the budget of Rs 400 crore.
On the other hand, Ekta Kapoor is busy with multiple web series and films projects as a producer. She will be bankrolling Do Villain, which stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
