Yo Yo Honey Singh on collaborating with upcoming artistes: I want to give a chance to newcomers because I got a lot of chances in my life

Popular rapper and composer Yo Yo Honey Singh, who delivered several chartbusters like Lungi Dance, Party With The Bhootnath and others will be collaborating with many new artistes in the upcoming months. The rapper has roped in his protege Hommie Dilliwala, for Shor Macheygaa, which will feature in Sanjay Gupta's Mumbai Saga starring John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi in key roles.

Talking about roping in launching his proteges, Honey Singh told E Times, "Hommie and Singhsta (another protege) are in their 20s. Hommie came to me when he was 17. He was an eager and enthusiastic artiste who wanted to learn and grow. My wife suggested that I train him. His diligence brought him so far that his first track will feature in a big ticket film. Hopefully, before the film comes out, we will be able to bring out one or two singles with him, so people are familiar with his work when his big song hits the airwaves. Personally, I love working with youngsters, it keeps you younger. I have worked hard to get this far. And people have given me a lot of opportunities at every level. Each time I felt it was slipping away, I found help from some point, some corner. My albums, songs and creations have found takers in people like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan. Today, if I support newbies, maybe I will earn some duas in return."

He added, "Hommie ke alava, there are two girls, and a few guys. We are all working on different songs. We continuously keep working on tracks without thinking yeh kahan jayega. Even if we play it in the car, we aim to make at least two songs a month. The idea is to entertain people. That's a learning I will pass on to these new kids also whose songs I will nurture the way people nurtured my songs."
