Last night, the first eviction of the season took place. A nominations task was announced by the Bigg Boss in which the contestants were made to name two co-contestants for eviction this week. They were asked to state a reason for nominating the contestant as well. Amongst the 11 contestants, the ones who nominated by voting were: Nishant Singh Malkani, Rahul Vaidya, Shehzad Deol, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Sara Gurpal, Eijaz Khan and Abhinav Shukla. A bomb was dropped by Bigg Boss on the seniors and contestants that the toofani seniors will come to a unanimous decision and vote one person to evict tonight.
They were in a fix. But had to come to a decision. Hina said that she felt Rahul and Nishant were not seen interacting much or working at all. Gauahar agreed with her point of view. However, she wanted to vote for Nishant. Sidharth listened to them at first and then stated that he thought both Rahul and Nishant have potential and are taking their time in opening up. He votes for Sara Gurpal stating that she looks like she is here for a picnic and believes that she is faking it all. Hina Khan pointed out to Sidharth that same goes for Nishant. Hina asks to give Sara a benefit of the doubt as she was unwell and did not have clothes as well. Hina and Gauahar agreed to go with Sidharth's decision while not revealing that they did not come to the conclusion unanimously.
Sidharth while announcing the decision reminded people that they did not believe that the one voted for eviction has no potential. However, Bigg Boss had stated that they (freshers) needed to impress the seniors and they failed to do so. They announced Sara Gurpal as the one to be evicted. Now, Hina and Gauahar (irrespective of the fact that they are not contestants) did not take stand for their point of view or differences and went ahead with the decision of Sidharth. This is sketchy, though in the end Hina stated that she did not agree with his decision.
Rahul, Nishant and Jaan had the most number of votes and Gauahar had warned them after Sara's eviction. Now, we ask you, was the decision of the seniors to evict Sara despite being the least nominated contestants for eviction right or wrong? Vote below:
