Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Karishma Prakash to get a clean chit from NCB? — read report

Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh have been named in the drug nexus in Bollywood. It has shocked the country when their chats had been accessed, following which the NCB officials had summoned them all for an interrogation. On Saturday, the three of them, that is Deepika, Sara and Shraddha reached the NCB guest house. They had dropped by alone and after hours of grilling, they left. In their statements, as per the reports, Deepika Padukone admitted to her conversation with Karishma Prakash. Sara Ali Khan, reports state, accepted her relationship and even stated that Sushant Singh Rajput had cheated on her. Shraddha Kapoor, on the other hand, reports state, revealed that SSR took drugs in his vanity Van during the shoot of Chhichhore.

And now as per the latest reports, the three of them are likely to get a clean chit by the authorities. As per a report in TOI, officials said that Deepika, Sara and Shraddha along with Deepika's manager Karishma have almost granted a clean chit.

The report also states that having confirmed her chat with Karishma, Deepika Padukone and the manager stated that they called maal for various kinds of cigarettes 'for fun'. Rakul Preet Singh, on the other hand, stated that Rhea Chakraborty used her house to store drugs. She also revealed that the doob in her chat meant rolled-up tobacco.

The NCB deputy DB spoke to media and revealed the report will be placed before the honourable cour on Sunday. However, the investigation is going on and also revealed that it has no relation to Karan Johar's July 2019 house party. "The ongoing probe into Bollywood's drug nexus has no connection to Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa's complaint about the alleged drug party hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar at his residence in 2019. No fresh summon has been issued today. Can't divulge anything as everything will be placed before the honourable court. About 18 people had been arrested in this case, and many have been interrogated as well," NCB Deputy DG (Southwest Region), Mutha Ashok Jain recently said in a statement to the media.
