Pearl V Puri was arrested for the alleged rape and molestation of a minor last evening of Friday. He remanded to police custody and booked for rape and under section of The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He was arrested by the Waliv police on June 4 under section u/s IPC 376 AB, r/w POCSO Act 4, 8, 12,19, 21. The Naagin 3 actor has now got bail. Yes, finally Pearl is out of jail and the news has been confirmed by Pearl's friend Karishma Tanna. Pearl V Puri's Naagin 3 producer and mentor Ekta Kapoor also took to Instagram and shared a long note stating that Pearl is being framed wrongly. Ekta said that she spoke to Pearl's co-actor and confirmed the news. As per reports, one of Pearl's married female co-actor, along with her husband lodged a complaint against him for allegedly raping and molesting their 11-year-old daughter on the pretext of clicking a picture. Ekta Kapoor wrote, "Will I support a child molester or a molester of any kind? But what I witnessed from last night to now, was the absolute low in human depravity. How can humanity go to this level? How can people who are upset with each other, drag a third person into their own fight? How can a human being take on another human being and do this? After various calls with the child's/girl's mother, who openly said that Pearl was not involved and it's her husband trying to create stories to keep her child and prove that a working mother on a set cannot take care of her kid. If this is true then it is wrong on so many levels!"

If by chance, Pearl is proved innocent, I request people to look more deeply into how the important & much needed movements in today's time, are being used unfairly reducing the gravitas of the situation.
