Yesterday, Nisha Rawal spoke about how she was pushed against a wall by Karan Mehra, which led to her getting stitches. In an EXCLUSIVE interview to BollywoodLife, Nisha Rawal's close friend, Rohit Verma has recounted how the couple's marriage was falling apart since two years. "Let me start, Karan is not a bad guy. He is a good person. But he has changed over the past 18 months. He just seems to be a different person, and not the one I knew. Nisha has spoken about his extramarital affair, we do not know if it has been on since a year." He further said that Karan Mehra is not a very demonstrative person. "One of the reasons is that Karan is not someone who is very expressive. Nisha is a very emotional girl. She is not much bothered about money but loves the small gestures. He had not been showing her any affection," Rohit adds.
Rohit Verma also says that Nisha Rawal is quite helpless. "She has only us for support. Nisha is the only child of her parents. Her dad is no more. She has been in depression since some years now. After she found out about his affair, she went to meet his parents in Delhi. They did not support her emotionally. In fact, they took a very neutral stance on the matter," Rohit said. It seems Nisha was ready to forgive Karan's infidelity and give their marriage one more chance. "She is not a girl who likes to wash her dirty linen in public. Nisha knew Karan had a very good public image and people saw them as an ideal couple. Five years back, they were on the verge of a divorce, but we friends told them to reconsider the decision. At that time, Karan accepted his mistakes and did work on them, but things were not the same before. Since two years, they just stretched the relationship," said the fashion designer.
He also said that Nisha Rawal has been physically assaulted before. "When Karan loses his cool, he does tend to get physical. He has slapped and pushed her in the past as well," he signs off!
