Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has recently been to the Bigg Boss 14 house as Eijaz Khan's proxy. While on the show she had revealed that she is in a relationship with someone and is planning to get married this year. In an interview with ETimes, Devoleena was asked about her wedding plans. She said that they were planning to get married this year, but have decided to postpone it to next year. She said that she wants the pandemic to end. Devoleena shares that currently, she is happy in her relationship but one can never say how can happen next. She wants to take time to understand life and various situations. Devoleena says that even though her partner is very understanding and supportive, one never knows what can happen in the future. She assured that once everything is decided she will let everyone know about it.
Devoleena was also asked why she hasn't revealed her partner's name. She said, "I am not ready to reveal my partner's name just yet. He is also not comfortable about making his name public since he doesn't belong to the industry. People will start sending him friend requests and following him on social media, which we don't want at this stage. I prefer to keep my personal life under wraps." Devoleena shared that there are a lot of projects lined up in the web space but due to the pandemic everything was postponed. She hopes that shoots resume post June 15. She also said that she has no problems doing TV but TV characters have a limit and web gives more opportunities to try new things. She said that she doesn't mind doing TV if any role like Maya from Beyhadh or a mature love story like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is offered.
Devoleena was asked about being approached for the Saath Nibhaana Saathiya prequel. She said, "I have been a part of Saath Nibhana Saathiya and season 2 of the show so far. No one has approached me for the prequel. Honestly, I have no idea about anything of this sort."
