BTS: Do you know how old V, RM, Jungkook, J-Hope, Jimin, Jin and Suga were when they had debuted?

If you're truly a diehard fan of BTS then you must be knowing many inner details and relatively unknown trivia about the band, right? After all, and self-respecting member of ARMY (that's what BTS fans the world over refer to themselves as) would. However, we bet that even the most hardcore BTS fan would find it difficult to tell how old V, RM, Jungkook, J-Hope, Jimin, Jin and Suga were when they had debuted in the group, not only because of how little of that data is available anywhere, but also because of the multiple statistics reported in the rare cases that they're available, owing to varied calculations when it comes to Korean age and international age.

According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, you're considered to be a year old the moment you're born, whereas, internationally, your first birthday is celebrated onky after completing one whole year of your life. "They also don't add a year to their age on their actual birthday. Instead, everyone adds a year to their age on the same day, which is January 1. If you were to live in Korea, depending on what time of the year it was, you could be considered one to two years older than your international age," the article continues.

According to this, the eldest member of BTS, Jin, was 21 years old (international age) when he had debuted with the band. As per international age, Suga was 20, J-Hope was 19, while both V and Jimin were 17, with Jimin, a couple of months older. On the other hand, Jungkook, the youngest member of the K-Pop group, was just 17 years of age when he had made his BTS debut.
