Sushant Singh Rajput's shocking demise is still the talk of the town. People do not want to believe that the actor has left us. It was on June 14 when we all heard the news of his suicide at his residence in Bandra and since then the investigation in his case is going on. It was the most sad day in everyone's life and especially for people who were close to him. Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande had been with him for several years and later they parted ways. However, everyone still remembers them as Manav and Archana from Pavitra Rishta. Yesterday, Pavitra Rishta completed 12 years. Ankita went live on Instagram for her fans to celebrate this special occasion and also cut a beautiful fan made cake. During this live session she remembered her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput.
She said, "It has been so upsetting for me today, I have seen so many videos which has Sushant, me, the entire family that made me very emotional. Pavitra Rishta is my first born. My feelings towards this show is very sacred. The entire cast and crew of Pavitra Rishta are very connected to it and we are like a big family, who meet and talk even now." She also thanked Ekta Kapoor for choosing her as Archana. She said, "I am very fortunate that Ekta saw Archana in me and I really love her a lot. I am also very thankful to the people for making Archana." Ankita Lokhande also spoke about the first episode of Pavitra Rishta and shared how the first episode went on air on June1, 2009 at 4:30 am and that the episode was supposed to telecast at 9 pm but due to some auspicious 'mahurat', Ekta Kapoor released the episode at 4:30 am.
She was in tears when she spoke about Sushant Singh Rajput. Ankita said, "Sushant aaj hamare beech nahi hai, uske bina Pavitra Rishta adhoora hai. Archana ka Manav sirf Sushant tha. (Sushant is not with us and Pavitra Rishta is incomplete without him. Only Sushant was Archana's Manav). I'm sure vo jahaan bhi hai vahaan dekh raha hai. I hope he is happy wherever he is. Sushant taught me to act, I knew nothing. I was junior and he was very senior. He was a brilliant actor, brilliant co-star and I am very fortunate to work with him." She also mentioned about Hiten Tejwani who had replaced Sushant as Manav later. She also shared another video on Instagram from Pavitra Rishta and wrote, "12 years of Pavitra rishta. 12Years!! Ohh, Yes Yes It's 12 Years Of Pavitra Rishta, Time Flies Really Quickly. With more than 66 Awards #Pavitrarishta remains to be one of the most loved show on Indian Television.
