Indian Idol 12
Indian Idol 12 has been in the news for all wrong reasons. Aditya Narayan has been going on defending the show. He said that it is good that the contestants are getting to know the harsh reality of the world. During last Shravan Rathod special episode, Shanmukhapriya was slammed for her performance. Later Shravan Rathod's son and his music partner, Nadeem gave their take on the episode calling the contestants talented. After Aditya Narayan had defended the show post Amit Kumar controversy, his father Udit Narayan called him childish. Aditya also reacted to his father's comments post that. Indian Idol 12 team also returned to Mumbai after shooting for a few episodes and will now wait for the lockdown restrictions to be lifted. The show has made it to the headlines because of a remark made by Aditya Narayan. As per the latest updates, political party MNS has warned of a strict action against Indian Idol 12 as Aditya's remark was considered to be derogatory in nature. In a Facebook Live session, MNS Chitrapat Sena chief Ameya Khopkar, mentioned that the party won't allow the makers of the show to shoot in Alibaug if Aditya's remark upset the people. He demanded an apology from the host and revealed of informing about the same to Aditya's father Udit Narayan and channel. Post Ameya Khopkar's warning, Aditya Narayan took to his Facebook account and extended an apology. He mentioned that his intention was not to hurt the sentiments of the people of Alibaug. Indian Idol 12 contestant Shanmukhapriya had also reacted to trolls and said that she takes it with a pinch of salt.
Sidharth Shukla
Sidharth Shukla's web show, Broken But Beautiful 3 released and has received a positive response. Fans have gone crazy with this new avatar of Sidharth Shukla. However, what has grabbed all the attention is his new look. We can see the actor with a moustache. He looks lean and the moustache is a rather prominent one. Now, we wonder if it is for a new project? Fans know that rumours of him joining Adipurush have been doing the rounds for a while. This look makes us wonder if something is up. Sidharth Shukla generally prefers the clean shaven look, and perhaps a stubble. ICYMI, rumours are rife that he might join Om Raut's Adipurush as Meghnath/Indrajeet from Ramayan.
Naagin 6
Naagin 6 has not yet begun but the rumours have already started. The last season with Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal stood out because of the chemistry between the main leads. Some days back, a rumour was doing the rounds that Rubina Dilaik might join the franchise as the main Naagin. But now the name of Niyati Fatnani is doing the rounds. We know her as Pia from Gul Khan's show Nazar. It was in the same genre and she has great experience of working in chroma, which is a pre-requisite for Naagin.
Yuvika Chaudhary
Yuvika Chaudhary landed herself in hot waters with netizens who have been venting out their anger over the actress for using a casteist slur in her recent Vlog. In the video, Yuvika can be seen filming her husband Prince Narula as he gets a haircut. She issued a public apology on her Instagram after the hashtag 'Arrest Yuvika Chaudhary' started trending on Twitter. Prince also took to his Instagram stories to apologise to his fans who were irked with Yuvika's use of a casteist slur in her video featuring him. He said that they felt really bad when they Googled the meaning of the word and asked for forgiveness. He also sent a message to haters that they are always ready to grab such opportunities to take someone down.
Saath Nibhaana Saathiya prequel
The makers of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya are coming up with a prequel to the first season. Yes, we will soon get to see a prequel to the show and the original Gopi Bahu, Gia Manek has been approached for the lead role. Even Mohammad Nazim aka Ahem has been approached for the show. In an interview with ETimes, Mohammad Nazim revealed that he has been approached for the show but nothing is confirmed yet. Now, Gia Manek has also opened up about returning as Gopi bahu in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya prequel. In an interview with ETimes, said she has a few projects in hand. She added that destiny will decide which one she will choose. Apart from Mohammad Nazim, the makers are also in talks with Rupal Patel who played Kokilaben in the show while Vandana Vithlani, who essayed the role Rashi's mother Urmila ben has confirmed that she is doing the show.
Rahul Vaidya
Rahul Vaidya has finally released the song he made for his best friends, Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin. The song is titled Aly and revealed in Bigg Boss 14, the song is written from Jasmin Bhasin's point of view. Aly Goni and Rakhi Sawant's lyrics make this one the perfect love song of the year. Rahul Vaidya's soulful voice will melt your heart. While we all have already heard the song in Bigg Boss 14, it seems fresh even today. The video has a glimpse of Bigg Boss 14. Instead, Mona would be seen hosting a crime thriller series. Yes, you read that right. The actress would be seen hosting the show called Mauka-e-Vardaat alongside Ravi Kishan.
