Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who is currently one of the biggest superstars in the country, recently contracted COVID-19. While we saw her fans wishing her speedy recovery on social media, we stumble upon on an interview of the actress with the Verve magazine in 2011, where she didn't only opened up about Ranbir Kapoor cheating on her but her idea on sex, love and relationship. She said, "For me, sex is not just about physicality; there are emotions involved. I have never cheated or strayed when I'm in a relationship. If I'm going to be fooling around, why would I be in a relationship?'' It's better to be single and have fun. But not everyone thinks like that. Maybe that's why I've been hurt in the past."
The actress revealed that she caught him red-handed and said, "I guess I really wanted to believe in him. Then I actually caught him red-handed. It took me a while to get out. But having done that, nothing can make me go back. That ship has sailed." Deepika found her soulmate in Ranveer Singh, whom she married after six years of dating.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone will soon start the shooting of The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan. Talking about the film, Deepika Padukone had earlier said, "The Intern is an intimate, relationship-driven film, set in and around the workplace; a story that I believe is very relevant to the present-day social and cultural environment. I have been looking for a light, breezy comedy-drama and this story fits in seamlessly. I cannot wait to begin this journey." On the other hand, Denzil Dias, Managing Director Warner Bros. India had added, "This is an exciting time for us to be partnering in local language production with the team at AZURE, who are passionate about film and storytelling. THE INTERN has been at the top of our list for potential adaptations and this is an enviable talent packaging for the adaptation."
