Popular TV and film actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal has passed away due to COVID-19 complications. The 52-year-old actor breathes last on May 1 and his death news was announced by filmmaker Vikram Bhatt on social media. "Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passes away. Taken from us by the cruel pandemic. I have done a lot of films with him and this doesn't get closer home. The days are turning into one long obituary and yet each life that we lose cannot be just a number. We cannot allow it to become a number. Each a special friend. May his soul rest in peace.

Actor Bikramjeet was known for his powerful performances in 24 and Special OPS. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit mourned the death of the talented actor and tweeted, "Sad to hear about the demise of actor Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal this morning due to #Covid. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal had played supporting roles in many films and television serials. Heartfelt condolences to his family & near ones."

Bikramjeet Kanwarpal made his acting debut in 2003 after he got retired from the Indian Army. He did several movies including Page 3, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Aarakshan, Murder 2, 2 States, The Ghazi Attack, and others. He even worked on TV and did shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Dil Hi Toh Hai, and Anil Kapoor's 24. He was last seen in the web series Special Ops.
