Saath Nibhaana Saathiya was one of the most-watched shows back then. The popularity of the show made the makers bring back another season of the show. We saw Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Mohammad Nazim, Rupal Patel return for season 2 of the show but later left and new actors took over. Currently, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 is doing well and is being loved by the fans. Now, the makers are coming up with a prequel to Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. Yes, we will soon get to see a prequel to the show and the original Gopi Bahu, Gia Manek has been approached for the lead role. Even Mohammad Nazim aka Ahem has been approached for the show.
In an interview with ETimes, Mohammad Nazim revealed that he has been approached for the show but nothing is confirmed yet. The makers are also in talks with Rupal Patel who played Kokilaben in the show while Vandana Vithlani, who essayed the role Rashi's mother Urmila has confirmed that she is doing the show. A source close to the show informed ETimes that Ved Raj, who is producing the show, was one of the writers of the original edition of SNS. He has worked on an original script but has retained certain elements, including a few members from the original cast.The source also revealed that apart from a few actors and some elements, everything is original about the new show. The source confirmed that Gia Manek, Mohammad Nazim and Vandana Vithlani are on-board and the makers are now waiting for Rupal Patel.
The source went to add that Mohammad Nazim will play Giaa Manek's husband in the new show and it will be a fairy tale romance on the lines of the story of Cinderella, whose life will change for the better after she meets her Prince Charming. Well, we are excited for this one for sure.
