The upcoming weekend episode of Sony Entertainment Television's Indian Idol Season 12, hosted by Aditya Narayan, and judged by Anu Malik and lyricist Manoj Muntashir is going to be a musical bonanza. Viewers will see the boys and girls battle it out with their singing talents, where Anu Malik will be leading the girls' team and Manoj Mutanshir will be spearheading the boys' team. One of the highlights of the upcoming episode of Indian Idol 12 will be contestants Ashish Kulkarni, who sings Jee Karda and Pachtaoge, and Shanmukhapriya, who beautifully renders Udi Teri Aankhon Se. Both received rave reviews from the judges side.
Praising them to seventh heaven, Anu Malik says, "You both are absolute performers, it gives me immense pleasure to listen to the songs sung by both of you. It was truly class apart."
Further in the show, when Aditya Narayan requests Ashish Kulkarni to describe his rival, Shanmukhapriya's performance, he says, "There is definitely no rivalry between me and Shanmukhapriya. We are like family and it will always remain that way. When I was unwell, it was Shanmukhapriya who was in constant touch with me and ensured I stay motivated. I used to give her timely updates be it on my recovery, eating habits or overall progress. She was always one call away and I am blessed to have a sister like her in my life."
