South superstar Nayanthara and her boyfriend and director Vignesh Shivan are one of the most talked about couples in the Tamil film industry. They are always spotted in each other's company and often grab attention for their loving chemistry. But this time around, Nayanthara and Vignesh were brought under the scanner when the couple received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccination at a private hospital in Chennai on Tuesday.
Vignesh shared a couple of images of him and Nayanthara on Instagram while getting jabbed and urged people to get themselves vaccinated. "Please please get vaccinated. Stay safe , stay indoors," he wrote. But little did Vignesh know that he and Nayanthara would be subjected to massive trolling online.
Netizens felt that Nayanthara was faking her COVID-19 vaccination and posing just for the cameras. Many pointed out that the nurse wasn't using any injection while Nayanthara was getting vaccinated. However, the actress' team slammed the trolls and shared the same zoomed-in picture that shows that the nurse was indeed using a needle during the vaccination. It just proves that online users don't pay attention to details and are quick to criticize people no matter what.
On the work front, Nayanthara and Vignesh will be teaming up for their upcoming film, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal which also stars Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Nayanthara will also be seen in her upcoming entertainer Annaatthe opposite Rajinikanth. She also has a Mollywood film titled Nizhal in her kitty. It was recently announced that Nayanthara will be sharing space with Fahadh Faasil in their upcoming film Pattu, directed by Alphonse Putheren.
