When Anushka Sharma accepted getting a lip job done and shut down trolls like a boss

Every now and then, there are speculations about actresses going under the knife for getting that perfect pout or cheeks or jaw line. And Anushka Sharma has been one of the actresses whose procedure and its after effect couldn't go unnoticed. Although the actress is loved and admired for her performances and is seen as one of the top Bollywood actresses in the younger lot, she was trolled and how when she appeared in the film Bombay Velvet. She had undergone a lip job and it was clearly visible. But before the film, fans noticed the same when she appeared on filmmaker Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan. She couldn't have hidden it even if she wanted. Later in an interview to the magazine Vogue, the PK and Zero actress accepted that she had gone for a lip job.

She had said, "I have nothing to hide. So when I spoke about my lip job, a lot of people called me brave for coming out." She further revealed that she had to do it for her role in Bombay Velvet and that she will not lie and claim that she hasn't gone under the knife. "I had to take ownership. I wanted fans to know that I'm human and not perfect," Anushka had said.

The actress had shut down trolls with this and later with her performances in film as an actor and as a producer. It will not be unfair to call her one of the most successful actresses-turned-producer right now. And her stint in OTT space with Bulbuul and Paatal Lok have been brave and acclaimed attempts. The actress is currently enjoying being a mommy to her baby Vamika, whom she delivered in January this year. She has gotten back to work, shooting for endorsements and finalizing her next project as an actor and producer.
